Our Services

There are many hundreds and thousands of people around the country who are faced with the daily struggle of trying to balance their own needs with the needs of loved ones who need care. This is where Dignity Community Care aims to provide that much needed support, assistance, and respite. We do this through the provision of the following services:

Domiciliary Care

This is the core of what we do as an organization. Helping our service-users with the most basic of needs. Getting up and going to bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, cooking, shopping, laundry, and light household duties. Helping them to live their lives as normal as possible.

Palliative Care

We understand and empathise how distressing it can be when a loved one is affected by a terminal illness. By providing specialist palliative care support we can help family members make the most of their time together with a terminally ill oved one. Our palliative care support allows our service-users to stay in the place where they feel the most comfortable, surrounded by precious memories and the people they love.

24-Hour Live-in Care

Our live-in care service provides 24-hour care within your home by a fully trained carer living with you within your home, providing you support with your essential needs and helping to make your life as comfortable as possible.

Respite Care

Through our respite service we can provide a much-needed break to carers who are providing long-term personal care to a family member. This could be for a few hours a week or to cover longer periods such as annual holidays.

Support Workers

In some cases we recognise that the support required by service-users can be challenging for a single carer to deal with, in such cases we are able to provide support workers for clients with additional needs, including people with physical and/or learning disabilities, mental health issues, challenging behaviour or sensory impairments.

Overnight Care

We recognise that care needs don’t stop at the end of the working day. We can supply ‘Night Sitters’ that can stay in your home overnight to help maintain your daily routine as well as provide support throughout the night.
